Chicago The 8th Annual St Paddy's Day 5K Run/Walk, benefiting the Lakeview Citizens Council, will be held on Sunday, March 15. The race’s theme, "Be Green, Be Seen!," encourages participants to bring their imaginations and creative sides with them on race day, in the form of unique costumes. Best costumes will receive great prizes! A special Leprechaun Leap (kid’s dash) will also be contested for the younger participants. After the race, participants are invited to gather indoors at a local bar for a toast to the day, and to enjoy food, drink and various awards and prizes. Racers turn in their bib numbers in exchange for a complimentary beverage.!
